Offering meaning, mentoring, and materials to inmates around the world.

Come and see why over 73,000 inmates gave their lives to Christ last year.

Over 11 million people are in prisons around the world with limited access to the gospel. Working with a network of prison chaplains and volunteers, we offer Bibles, devotionals, and mentorship programs specifically designed for inmates. So they can turn their broken past into a Christ-filled future.

Inmates long for connection. We connect with them, and connect them to Christ.

The darkness, chaos and isolation of prison can be overwhelming. An inmate's shame and guilt cause a perpetual state of hopelessness. They want change. We point them to redemptive change. They want the truth. We point them to the Bible. They want meaning in their lives. We point them to the Creator who gave them life. They want freedom. We point them to eternal freedom.

Last year, 73,000 inmates gave their lives to Christ. Come and join us.

Who We Are

Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” - Hebrews 13:3

Founded in 1989, Prisoners For Christ Outreach Ministries (PFC) is a nondenominational Christian prison ministry based in Woodinville, WA, just outside of Seattle. We are dedicated to taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the jails, prisons, and juvenile centers in the United States and around the world. Simply put: we connect with prisoners so they can connect with Christ.

Why We Do What We Do

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you.” - Ephesians 4:32

Inmates long for freedom. We help them find true freedom through Christ, turning their deep despair into a deep desire to follow Christ. So they can turn their broken past into a Christ-filled future, replacing their hopelessness with hope for today, tomorrow, and eternity.

How We Do What We Do

“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” - 2 Corinthians 5:20

Working with a network of prison chaplains and volunteers, we offer bibles, devotionals, and mentorship programs specifically designed for inmates. Our worship services, Bible studies, special concerts, and one-to-one visitations are the highlight of a prisoner’s week. Our popular Bible study correspondence course and Yard Out newspaper give inmates access to encouragement and pathways to grow spiritually. We also offer support and resources to prison chaplains and inmate’s families. With field offices in 34 countries and over 3,968 volunteers, we are poised to continue to turn the locked doors of prison into open doors of potential through Christ.

What You Can Do To Help

“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” - 2 Corinthians 9:11

We have a plan, and the key part of the solution is you! Here are 3 ways you can join us in our mission:

  1. Give - Thousands of souls are going to heaven because of this ministry; you can add to that number. This may be the best opportunity you have to share the Gospel with someone who desperately needs it.

  2. Volunteer - We offer many volunteer opportunities including mentoring, letter writing, and more. We will train you and be there with you every step along the way.

  3. Pray - Join us in bringing prayers to the throne room of God.
