FOR PRISONERS
Several of PFC’s ministries were already positioned to thrive during a pandemic and quarantine, i.e. the Bible Study Correspondence School, Bible and Literature Distribution, Pen Pals, and the Yard Out inmate newspaper. With demand for these ministries on the rise, PFC has focused a lot of resources to enhance these ministries in order to meet the inmates’ growing needs.
FOR CHAPLAINS
One of the ways PFC has pivoted its ministry is to actively reach out to Chaplains across the United States to offer our resources free of charge. With COVID restrictions having stopped all volunteer programming, the responsibility of providing religious services to the inmates falls squarely on the Chaplains. PFC is here to support and encourage these brothers and sisters who serve at the facilities.
FOR VOLUNTEERS
The backbone of PFC’s ability to fill the spiritual needs of prisoners is its volunteers - brothers and sisters in Christ who have a compassion for the lost and lonely inside prison walls. Although volunteering inside prisons during COVID came to a complete halt, PFC still has ways that volunteers can minister to prisoners all over the United States. Applying to volunteer is easy and PFC still provides quality training.
